HOW IT WORKS

2. Describe your challenge

The challenge statement is provided for you: You are the coach of an  elite level team. A star player's partner is very disruptive to the team and the wider group. They publish information on their social media account about the other members of the squad, leak privileged information overheard at events, and from locker-room talk relayed to them by their partner. This is causing tension among the squad, affecting the atmosphere at training and impacting negatively on the performance of  the team.

3. Generate ideas

Generate ideas, review what experienced coaches have done, and find targeted specialised research

4. Formulate a plan

Create a roadmap, using a guided process to solve your issue

5. Reflect on the output

Reflect on the solution and save your strategy for future reference

C&C competition information

A £50 Amazon voucher will be awarded to 2 delegates whom the judges consider have used the tool to come up with the most creative plan to address the issues outlined in the challenge.


Judges will be looking for entries that demonstrate 

  • clearly articulated outcomes
  • depth and quality of ideas explored
  • extent to which the tool has been used


Closing date for entries is 1st July 2022. Winners will be announced on 18th July 2022 and names published on this page.


Terms & Conditons

  • Winners will receive a £50 Amazon voucher, there are no cash refunds or substitutions.
  • Only delegates to the ACM Creativity & Cognition Conference may enter
  • Only proposed solutions to the stated challenge will be considered
  • The judging panel is made up of CebAI and Sport Sparks personnel.
  • The judges decision is final.
  • Entrants may create more than one solution to the challenge.
  • Closing date for entries is midnight, 1st July 2022
  • Winners will be announced on 18th July 2022 
  • The names of the winners will be published on this page.
